I am excited to announce my first ever author appearance in the Albany area—the presentation and signing event will be for my recent release of Abandoned Albany- Relics Of The Capital District. As many know, I am a Nashville, Tennessee-based photographer and author— best known for my titles covering the Southern United States. I am however, an Albany native — throughout my visits home to congregate with family and friends, I explored the Capital Region's abandoned treasures. Over a period of several years, I built up a library of photographs from my explorations— eventually I felt ready and inspired to make this exciting book a reality.
The research began so I could accompany the haunting photos with relevant history and narrative from personal memoirs of former workers and residents. I will give a brief presentation on how the book came to be, what fuels my adventures, and some random tidbits of history / personal adventures associated with the making of this title. The presentation will be followed by a book signing and meet and greet. I hope to see you there, and share this exciting time with me!
